Ok, let’s use the vSend Central Server to configure vSend!

The vSend Central Server (GCS) is used when secure and instantaneous configuration is needed. It is also used to enable centralized auditing of vSend events.

1. Download and install the GCS on a Windows Server
2. Configure the settings & auditing you need
3. Publish the GCS to your infrastructure via DNS or GPO

Ok, let’s configure this manually.

For small teams and SMB infrastructure, you can use a file based database back end. For larger implementation you can use a MS SQL Server back end.

For today, let’s start with the file-based database to get you going. If performance is lacking, you can always access database configuration via the vSend Settings button and switch to a MSSQL database.

Create a network share that is accessible and modifiable by your team, then enter its UNC path below:

Domain DNS Verification

Ok, let’s use vDNS tool to configure vSend!

You will find the records you need in the knowledgebase. The records there may be used to verify your domain ownership and authenticate your emails with DKIM and SPF. Best practices are the sign every email you send with your domain, we guarantee 99.5% deliverability with every email sent through vSend Email Relay Servers or vSend API.

Publish the DNS at your host or registrar, & visit the vDNS Tool to Verify your DNS Records have propogated. This utility allows you to push server side configuration to the vDNS server and displays helpful hints on verifying your domain and authenticating your emails.

This is done automatically by vSend as you perform services on your machines, so over time you will be able to detect user’s machine. However we can pre-deploy these agents on some machines now so that you can test this feature.

Activate Marketing Plans

vSend offers business owners three tiers of marketing plans; vBroadcast Business, vBroadcast Agency, and vBroadcast Enterprise.

vCommerce is in beta, and will be in full production early 2018.

Remote Control Behavior

You will find a vSend Group Policy Admin Template in this directory. This GPO templates can be used to configure the behavior and settings of vSend both on the operator and client sides.
